The single stud that holds the rear of the diff is these cars is known to shear off leaving the diff hanging with the sub frame damaged. This is especially likely to happen if you have solid diff mounts installed, and if you have significantly increased power over stock levels. This brace solves this issue by picking up two areas on the sub frame and two spots on the diff itself. The brace also has built in jack point to make lifting the rear of the vehicle easy.
